  • 3–4 lbspork shoulder (bone-in)
  • 2 tbspbrown sugar
  • 2 tspsmoked paprika
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 1 tspcumin
  • 1 cupBBQ sauce
  • 16slider buns
  • 2 cupscoleslaw mix
  • 2 tbspapple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbspmayonnaise
  • 2 tspsalt

Instructions

  1. 1.Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and salt. Rub all over pork shoulder. Let sit 30 minutes at room temp.
  2. 2.Preheat oven to 300°F. Place pork in a Dutch oven or roasting pan, cover tightly with foil, and roast for 4 hours.
  3. 3.Rest 20 minutes, then use two forks to shred the pork. Toss with BBQ sauce.
  4. 4.Toss coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, vinegar, and a pinch of salt.
  5. 5.Pile pulled pork onto slider buns and top with slaw. Serve warm.

Notes

This recipe is even better the next day — the flavors deepen overnight in the fridge.
