  • 2 cupsall-purpose flour
  • 1¾ cupsbuttermilk
  • 2 largeeggs
  • 3 tbspbutter, melted
  • 2 tbspsugar
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • ½ tspbaking soda
  • ½ tspsalt

Instructions

  1. 1.Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. 2.In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter together.
  3. 3.Pour wet into dry and stir until just combined — lumps are fine, do not overmix.
  4. 4.Heat a griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
  5. 5.Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2–3 minutes, then flip and cook 1–2 minutes more until golden.
  6. 6.Serve immediately with maple syrup and butter.
