- 2 cupsall-purpose flour
- 1¾ cupsbuttermilk
- 2 largeeggs
- 3 tbspbutter, melted
- 2 tbspsugar
- 2 tspbaking powder
- ½ tspbaking soda
- ½ tspsalt
Instructions
- 1.Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- 2.In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter together.
- 3.Pour wet into dry and stir until just combined — lumps are fine, do not overmix.
- 4.Heat a griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
- 5.Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2–3 minutes, then flip and cook 1–2 minutes more until golden.
- 6.Serve immediately with maple syrup and butter.
