Golden, custardy French toast with warm cinnamon. Serve with fresh berries and powdered sugar.

- 4 slicesthick-cut bread (brioche or Texas toast)
- 3 largeeggs
- ½ cupwhole milk
- 1 tspvanilla extract
- ½ tspground cinnamon
- 1 tbspsugar
- 2 tbspbutter
- for servingpowdered sugar and maple syrup
Instructions
- 1.Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar in a shallow dish.
- 2.Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter.
- 3.Dip each bread slice in the egg mixture, soaking for 20 seconds per side.
- 4.Cook in the buttered pan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Add more butter as needed.
- 5.Serve dusted with powdered sugar alongside maple syrup.
