Savory seasoned ground turkey with water chestnuts and a hoisin-ginger sauce in crisp lettuce cups.

  • 1 lbground turkey
  • 1 headbutter lettuce
  • 1 can (8 oz)water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 3garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tspginger, grated
  • 3 tbsphoisin sauce
  • 2 tbspsoy sauce
  • 1 tspsesame oil
  • 1 tbsprice vinegar
  • 3scallions, sliced
  • for garnishsesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1.Cook turkey in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up, until no pink remains. Drain excess liquid.
  2. 2.Add garlic and ginger. Cook 1 minute.
  3. 3.Add hoisin, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Stir to coat. Cook 2 minutes.
  4. 4.Fold in water chestnuts and scallions. Cook 1 more minute.
  5. 5.Separate lettuce leaves into cups. Spoon turkey mixture into each cup. Garnish with sesame seeds and extra scallions.
