Chunky, fresh guacamole with just the right amount of lime, jalapeño, and cilantro. Ready in 10 minutes.

- 3ripe avocados
- 2 tbsp (about 1 lime)lime juice
- 1jalapeño, seeded and minced
- ¼ cupred onion, finely diced
- 2 tbspfresh cilantro, chopped
- 1garlic clove, minced
- ¾ tspsalt
- 1 smalltomato, diced (optional)
Instructions
- 1.Halve and pit the avocados. Scoop flesh into a bowl.
- 2.Add lime juice and salt. Mash with a fork to your preferred texture — leave it chunky.
- 3.Fold in jalapeño, red onion, garlic, and cilantro.
- 4.Add tomato if using. Taste and adjust salt and lime. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
Notes
Make it right before serving — guacamole browns quickly. If you need to store it, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface.
