Chunky, fresh guacamole with just the right amount of lime, jalapeño, and cilantro. Ready in 10 minutes.

  • 3ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp (about 1 lime)lime juice
  • 1jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • ¼ cupred onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbspfresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1garlic clove, minced
  • ¾ tspsalt
  • 1 smalltomato, diced (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1.Halve and pit the avocados. Scoop flesh into a bowl.
  2. 2.Add lime juice and salt. Mash with a fork to your preferred texture — leave it chunky.
  3. 3.Fold in jalapeño, red onion, garlic, and cilantro.
  4. 4.Add tomato if using. Taste and adjust salt and lime. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

Make it right before serving — guacamole browns quickly. If you need to store it, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface.
