Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls

Ingredients

- 3¾ cupsmilk
- 3 teaspoonssalt
- 12 tablespoonsmelted butter, separated
- 3large eggs, at room temperature
- ¾ cuphoney
- 12 cupsall-purpose or bread flour
- 6¾ teaspoonsactive dry yeast
Instructions
- 1.Bring the milk to a near boil. Remove from heat when it begins to steam and small bubbles form. Let reduce to lukewarm, 80–90°F.
- 2.Mix the milk, yeast, and honey in a small bowl until well combined. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- 3.In a large bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of butter, the milk mixture, room-temperature egg, and 2 cups of flour. Mix slowly until smooth. Gradually add remaining flour until a dough has formed.
- 4.Add salt, and mix/knead for 8 minutes. Drop the dough onto a floured surface and knead for a few more minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and rise 1 hour in a warm place.
